Auswahl der Eingangsquelle

  • Hallo Leute,


    ich benutze Audacity 1.2.3 auf Gentoo, Kernel 2.6.11, Alsa 1.08 - funktioniert prima ...
    aber - ich bekomme die 'Inputauswahl' im Audacityfenster nicht ... hat jemand ne Ahnung wie das gehen könnte ? Weil wär ja schon praktisch ...

    das ging ja schnell ...
    Alsa steht jedenfalls in 'USE' also denke ich mal das es mit Alsa kompiliert ist ...
    alsa-oss ist instaliert, ob es an ist? hm wo wird das 'angeschaltet'? Apspielen funktioniert, aufnehmen funktioniert - eigentlich geht alles ... aber ich hätte halt gern die 'Inputauswahl' ...
    Es ist ne Audigy mit dem ALSA-Kerneltreiber vom 2.6.11

    ALSA ist auch in use wenn Audacity über alsa-oss läuft. Es gibt z.Z. zwei verschiedene Möglichkeiten Audacity zu benutzen, mit ALSA oder mit OSS meistens dürfte es mit OSS kompiliert sein weil die ALSA Version noch relativ instabil. (unter Einstellungen kannst du schauen ob es über ein dsp device oder hw0:0 o.ä geht. Wenns dsp ist dann hast du eine mir OSS kompilierte version)


    Egal. Hast du evtl den Mixer ausgeschalten? -> Datei->Einstellungen->Interface->Mixer Toolbar aktivieren


    Ansonsten kannst du das auch über alsa-mixer machen, das Capture device müsste dann die quelle sein wenn ich mich nicht irre.

    sounddevice ist /dev/dsp
    wie kompiliere ich den in Gentoo, so das es ALSA einkompiliert?
    und wie schalte ich alsa-oss ein ? ist wahrscheinlich an - da sonst gar nix gehen würde ...

    jop is warscheinlich an.


    bei ./configure --with-portaudio=v19 angeben. (bin mir nicht ganz sicher mit v19 müsste aber stimmen v18 ist dann OSS.


    Allerdings dürfts daran nicht liegen, ich gehe auch über OSS und es funktioniert. Ist bei dir die Liste mit der inpurauswahl einfach leer?

    die kommen nicht, ohne portaudio=v19 ...

    Portaudio ist die "grundlage" von Audacity. Soweit ich das weis wird darüber die ganze Sound Aus-/Eingabe gemacht - Laienhaft erklärt, besser kann das sicher chefe ;)

  • Zu Harteware: Soviel ich weiß verwendet der Gentoo-Port immer OSS (da nur Portaudio v18 im Ebuildtree ist). In Deinem Fall wäre das die OSS-Emulation von ALSA. Mit dieser Kombination gab es schon öfter Probleme, dass die Mixer-Toolbar nicht funktioniert hat.


    Zu Dragon88: Leider gibt es für die Mixer-Toolbar noch keine Unterstützung für ALSA. Es bleibt Dir also nur die Verwendung von AlsaMixer zusammen mit Audacity (was aber problemlos funktionieren sollte).

    Du hönntest versuchen, Portaudio auf den Quellen in /usr/local/lib zu installieren (sollte ohne Risiko sein) und dann dem ebuild von Audacity den Parameter "with-portaudio-v19" mitgeben. Ich habe das noch nicht probiert, allerdings aus Zeitgründen und weil bei mir OSS ganz gut funktioniert. Zugegebenermaßen bin ich manchmal dann auch zu feige nach dem Motto "never change a running System". Allderdings weiß ich im Moment nicht, wie man einem ebuild configure-Parameter übergibt (weißt Du das evtl?).


    BTW: Ich habe hier Gentoo auf AMD64
